Build a Home for the Hambys

In collaboration with a local contractor and other local professionals, the Audie Gray Foundation worked to fund the construction of a home that fit the needs of the Hamby family. Erin Hamby was a student at Caldwell Early College High School when she suffered a tragic car accident that left her paralyzed from the neck down. Erin, her brother, and her parents needed a bigger space to accommodate the many new obstacles they faced daily and a space to gather together as a family that provided comfort and joy. Tragically, Erin Hamby passed away Sunday, 27 November 2022. AGF is honored to have played a small part in providing her and her family a beautiful home for her final days. Erin was a kind and beautiful young woman who will continue to inspire other with strength and resilience. The Audie Gray Foundation would like to thank the Hamby family for allowing us this honor and, as always, thank you Chris Hamby for your service to our country.
